New Test Enclosure Reduces Audible Noise During Thermal Testing

iTS, manufacturer of the Temptronic® ThermoStream® air forcing system, has developed an enclosure that provides a 55% reduction in the noise caused by forced air during electronics thermal cycling. Electronics testing often requires concentrated air flow to rapidly transition components to specified temperature in a test enclosure. iTS’s new enclosure, called the ECO Quiet Cap connects to the ThermoStream’s air nozzle to reduce the noise and isolate the test subjects.

Family of Standard -60 °C and -40 °C Portable Chillers

A standard line of -40 °C and -60 °C portable, low-temperature chillers has been introduced by Thermonics Corporation. These 12 air- and water-cooled fluid chillers build on the recently introduced family of -80°C units. With precise temperature control of recirculating heat-transfer fluids, each model provides various capacities to support a particular application, up to 5.4kW at -40°C.

Family of Standard -80°C Portable Chillers

A new family of ultra-low temperature air- and water-cooled chillers, suitable for labs and plants, has been introduced by Thermonics Corporation. These portable two-stage, cascade refrigeration chillers are capable of reaching -80 °C. Recirculating heat-transfer fluids at precise temperatures each model provides various cooling capacities to support a particular application, up to 2.5 kW at -80 °C.

Tensile Testing at Temperature | ASTM & MIL-STD

Materials testing often requires a long and narrow cavity to accommodate measurement devices. With tensile testing, objects are pulled in one direction and stressed until failure, but strain can also be used to pull the object in both directions. Customizing chambers for the OEM and end-user is what we do best.
